This webinar is designed for behaviour analysts and other clinicians who work with children and want to learn more about expanding their practice to accommodate Telehealth services. In this webinar, we will start by reviewing the different models used in Telehealth including synchronous services and asynchronous services. Participants will also review the clinical scope of competence as a Telehealth Practitioner - which includes clinical considerations for supervision, direct services and parent training. Participants will also learn to how gain parent buy-in via the Telehealth model. Participants will also learn about some clinical considerations in achieving cultural competency when working with caregivers via Telehealth. Participants will also review some of the ethical considerations that are associated with the Telehealth Service Delivery Model. At the end of this webinar, participants should be able to identify the two common modalities of Telehealth and identify common challenges that arise with Telehealth practice and be able to readily identify solutions to these challenges.
