This webinar will teach behaviour analysts who work with individuals from diverse populations how to adapt their practice to become culturally adaptive to promote the Culturally Responsive Service Delivery model. This webinar is for participants willing to learn how to adapt their current treatment model to include culturally relevant variables. In this webinar, we will begin by defining Culture, Cultural Competency and reviewing the Cultural Competency Continuum. Participants will also review the clinical scope of competence of the Culturally Competent Practitioner – which includes clinical considerations for assessments, supervision, treatment planning, direct services, and parent consultation. Participants will also review various ethical considerations and conflicts surrounding Cultural Barriers.  At the end of this webinar, participants should be able to identify the six stages of the Cultural Competence Continuum and identify common solutions to mitigate cultural barriers by utilizing a Culturally Response Service Delivery model and be able to readily identify solutions to these challenges.
